As the nation gears up to celebrate the 75th Independence Day, multi-layer security has been put in place in and around the Red Fort. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from the Red Fort on the completion of India’s 76 years of Independence on August 15. India became an independent nation from British Rule on August 15, 1947. To commemorate this special event, PM Modi has urged people to unfurl Tiranga at home and change their DP to the national flag under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.
